UPDATE - 1am - all the websites are back online.
The problem was caused by server hardware failure, the data was fully restored by 1am.

5pm - We are currently experiencing an issue with one of our servers which is causing some websites to be unavailable - the data centre is actively investigating the issue. This does not appear to be affecting email.
We'll post updates here as they become available.
